Foreign Minister congratulates award winner

Manama, Mar. 14(BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khaled bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, congratulated the Director of Information Systems at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ali Jassim Al-Aradi, on his win of the IT Man of the Year Award at the Future IT Summit 2019 in the United Arab Emirates. He was granted the award in recognition of his efforts in the Digital Transformation Project for Unified Communications Infrastructure at the ministry of Foreign Affairs and diplomatic missions abroad. The Foreign Minister expressed pride in this outstanding achievement in that it reflects the progress and qualitative performance as well as constant endeavors to attain development and creativity at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This project came within the framework of the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to promote the digital trends in order to meet the objectives of Bahrain Vision 2030. It also came within the Ministry’s efforts to reduce operational cost, enhance levels of cooperation, mobility and productivity among the work teams around the world and Keep its employees connected around the clock towards the providing the best services possible and ensuring the safety of citizens and residents of the Kingdom around the world. This annual forum attracts around 300 high-profile IT personalities and decision-makers from all over the world, all aiming to develop awareness about the value of technology in the development of institutional work in various in reflection of IT high importance in addressing many challenges in the world at present.
