Foreign Minister congratulates Kuwait

Manama, Feb. 24(BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, attended the reception hosted by the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Shaikh Thamer bin Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, at the Gulf Convention Centre marking the 59th anniversary of the State of Kuwait’s National Day and the 29th anniversary of its liberation. He expressed Bahrain’s pride in its brotherly historical relations with the State of Kuwait, which are based on cordiality, kinship and joint destiny, noting the distinguished level of such relations under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his brother the Amir of Kuwait His Highness Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. He also congratulated the State of Kuwait and its brotherly peoples on this precious occasion, hailing the crucial role played by the State of Kuwait in supporting its brothers in different regional and international issues and its strategic role in establishing stability and security in the region. He also wished the State of Kuwait further progress and prosperity.
