Foreign Minister congratulates UK on parliamentary elections success

Manama, Dec. 13 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, expressed sincere congratulations to the United Kingdom on success of its parliamentary elections, stressing that the results of these elections will contribute to achieving the aspirations of the British people for further prosperity in various fields. He added the elections will also open up new horizons for relations between the UK and all countries of the world. The Foreign Minister reaffirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain's pride in strong historical and strategic relations of friendship with the UK and their perpetual growth at all levels. He stressed keenness on boosting bilateral cooperation for the common interest of both countries and peoples. (MOFA)
