Foreign Minister exchanges cables of greetings with Chinese Foreign Minister

Manama, Apr. 18 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, has exchanged congratulatory cables with the State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi of the People's Republic of China on the 30th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Shaikh Khalid expressed his pride in the constant progress of the historic friendship relations between Bahrain and China. He described their constant development as reflective of the two countries’ common interest in promoting these close relations, looking forward to promote fruitful cooperation with the China at various forums for the benefit of the two countries and peoples. Wang Yi stressed that the remarkable development of bilateral relations over the past 30 years reflects mutual trust. He expressed his country's keenness to continue working with the Kingdom through the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs to further bolster the bilateral relations towards broader horizons.
