Foreign Minister extends condolences on demise of Malaysian King’s father

Manama, May 27 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, signed in the book of condolences today at the Malaysian embassy to Bahrain, in honour of the demise of the Sultan Ahmad Shah, the father of Malaysia’s current King, Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin. The minister extended his sincere condolences to the Malaysian government and people, recalling the deceased’s contribution to Malaysia’s prosperity and development at all levels, as well as his efforts to enhance relations between the two countries. He also stressed Bahrain’s keenness to bolster bilateral cooperation and coordination for the common interests of the two friendly countries and peoples.
