Foreign Minister hails Saudi Cabinet’s decision

Manama, Oct. 7 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, hailed the decision issued by the Saudi Cabinet to hold discussions with the Kingdom of Bahrain to raise the level of the chairmanship of the Coordination Council to the crown princes of the two countries, considering it an important step in promoting brotherly relations, bilateral cooperation and joint coordination efforts to further develop cooperation in the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples. The Foreign Minister affirmed that the strong ties between the two countries are based on kinship, sincerity, gratitude and mutual respect between the two brotherly leaderships and peoples, in addition to common history and destiny, which extend for years of cooperation, solidarity, full support and unity of positions towards various regional and international challenges and circumstances. He also added that the solid historical relations between the two countries are paid great attention from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his brother the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who are complementing the solid foundations laid by their ancestors to consolidate brotherhood and mutual love relations, and the rules of cooperation, complementarity and interdependence. The minster emphasised that the Saudi cabinet’s decision will reflect the course of brotherly relations and cooperation between the two countries, as His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, both have great wisdom and an ambitious modern vision that keeps pace with the present and aspires to the bright future for the coming generations, through achieving more growth, prosperity and progress for the two brotherly countries, and pushing efforts to maintain security, stability and peace in the region further.
