Foreign Minister holds call with Israeli counterpart

Manama, Sept. 12 (BNA): A phone call was held today between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, and his Israeli counterpart, Gabi Ashkenazi. The two Ministers exchanged friendly talks on the occasion of the peace declaration between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Israel, which was announced yesterday through a phone call between His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, US President Donald Trump, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. They also stressed the need to move these relations forward in all aspects in a way that serves mutual interests and promotes peace and stability in the region.
