Foreign Minister holds phone call with UK Minister of State for Middle East and North Africa

Manama, Dec.26 (BNA):Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani held a telephone call todaywith the Minister of State for Middle East and North Africa at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the United Kingdom, James Cleverly. He expressed Bahrain’s congratulations on reaching the Trade and Cooperation Agreement between the United Kingdom and the European Union. He affirmed the Kingdom’s pride in the ever-growing historic friendly relations between the two countries, stressing the Kingdom’s keenness in enhancing joint action between them on various issues. From his side, James Cleverly thanked Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani for his congratulations, praising the distinguished historic relations between the UK and Bahrain. He also underscored the importance of enhancing relations for the common interests of the two countries.
