Foreign Minister holds phone calls with Saudi, Kuwaiti counterparts

Manama, May 15 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, today held phone calls with his Saudi and Kuwaiti counterparts, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, and Dr. Shaikh Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah, respectively. During the calls, the ministers highlighted the strong brotherly relations linking the Kingdom of Bahrain with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Kuwait. They discussed strengthening the joint action of the Gulf Cooperation Council to meet the aspirations of its peoples. They also reviewed the latest efforts to combat the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
