Foreign Minister meets Advisor to Russian President, Secretary-General of forum’s Organizing Committee

Moscow, June 3 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, met today Advisor to the Russian President and Secretary-General of the Organizing Committee of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Anton Kobyakov, within the framework of the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs to the Russian Federation To take part in the forum. During the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs praised the international forum’s organization in this ancient historical city, and what the forum represents as an international platform for exchanging ideas and visions on international political and economic issues and challenges. He praised the important role and efforts undertaken by the organizing committee of the St. Petersburg Economic Forum in order to prepare for such an important international event and commended the depth of the close friendship and cooperation relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Russian Federation as reflecting the mutual interest and desire of both sides to develop friendship and joint cooperation for the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples. For his part, Kobyakov welcomed the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the forum, and the Kingdom of Bahrain's interest in continuing its participation in its activities, praising the advanced level of joint cooperation between the two countries in various fields. He expressed the Russian Federation's aspiration to increase investments between the two friendly countries to meet common aspirations and goals, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Moscow, Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Saati, CEO of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, Khaled Amr Al-Rumaihi, CEO of the Economic Development Board, Khaled Ibrahim Humaidan, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Eman Ahmed Al-Dossari, Director General of Foreign Ministry Affairs, Talal Abdul Salam Al-Ansari, and a number of officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
