Foreign Minister meets with Armenian counterpart

Munich, Feb. 18 (BNA): Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa affirmed Bahrain's keenness to boost ties of friendship and cooperation with the Republic of Armenia in all fields. This came as he met today his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian, on the sidelines of the 53rd Edition of the Munich Security Conference in the Federal Republic of Germany. Both ministers discussed bilateral relations and ways to further boost them at all levels. They underlined the importance of reciprocal visits between the officials of the two countries to further promote cooperation. The meeting spotlighted vital issues on the agenda of the Munich Security Conference as well as issues of common interest. (MOFA)
