Foreign Minister meets with Egyptian counterpart

Manama, Aug. 8 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, His Excellency Sameh Shoukry, on the occasion of his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The two sides highlighted strong brotherly relations between the two countries under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi. They reviewed ways to further develop bilateral ties at all levels, and discussed the latest regional developments in the security and political fields. From the Egyptian side, the meeting was attended by the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Ambassador Nazih Ali Bahaa El-Din Al-Najari, and Egyptian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, H.E. Ambassador Yasser Mohamed Ahmed Shaaban. From the Bahraini side, it was attended by Chief of Arab Affairs, H.E. Mr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Tarifi, and a number of officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
