Foreign Minister meets Greek counterpart

Manama, June 13 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, today met with Foreign Minister of the Republic of Greece, Giorgos Katrougalos, currently visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain. Shaikh Khalid welcomed the visiting Greek Minister and expressed the aspiration of the Kingdom of Bahrain to strengthen its existing friendly relations with the Republic of Greece and push bilateral ties to wider horizons in various political, economic, trade and other areas. He stressed the importance of constant exchange of visits between officials of the two countries to serve all aspects of bilateral cooperation both sides. In his turn, Giorgos Katrougalos expressed pride to have met the Minister of Foreign Affairs, stressing that his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain comes within the intent of the Republic of Greece to develop bilateral at all levels. He hailed the great efforts being exerted by the Kingdom of Bahrain to enhance security and stability in the region, wishing it further development and prosperity.
