Foreign Minister meets his Lebanese counterpart

Manama, Jan. 20 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lebanese Republic, Gebran Bassil, on the sidelines of his participation in the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit held in Beirut. The Minister of Foreign Affairs hailed the efforts of the Lebanese Republic in hosting and organising the Arab Summit. He affirmed the pride of the Kingdom of Bahrain in its relations with the Lebanese Republic, highlighting its commitment to preserving peace and security in Lebanon. He also asserted the Kingdom’s efforts to further strengthen bilateral cooperation and coordination with the Lebanese Republic to achieve common goals. The Lebanese Minister valued the Kingdom’s supportive stances toward the Lebanese Republic, wishing Bahrain continued development.
