Foreign Minister meets ICRC President

Manama, Dec. 4 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, today met the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Peter Maurer, on the sidelines of the 16th Manama Dialogue. They reviewed the estimated efforts made by the International Committee of the Red Cross, and the aid it provides to the various afflicted people in the world, and emphasised Bahrain's interest to continue to cooperate with the committee to serve the goals of humanitarian and relief work. The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and Director of Organisations, Ambassador Fatima Abdullah Al-Dhaen.
