Foreign Minister meets Iraqi counterpart

Manama, Sep. 17 (BNA): Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, met his Iraqi counterpart Fouad Mohammed Hossein on the sidelines of the ministerial meetings held today in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia,. During the meeting, they emphasized the depth of the existing brotherly relations between Bahrain and Iraq, and the progress ties are witnessing at all levels. They also reviewed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and advance them to broader horizons in order to meet common aspirations and achieve the desired goals. A number of issues of common interest to Bahrain and Iraq were also discussed, during the meeting which was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and the delegation accompanying the Minister.
