Foreign Minister meets Philippines Foreign Undersecretary

Manama, Dec. 29 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani met Philippines Foreign Affairs Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs Sarah Lou Y. Arriola. The minister praised the friendship and cooperation between Bahrain and the Philippines in various fields. He hailed the active role played by the Filipino community in the Kingdom and their outstanding contributions in advancing the development process. The undersecretary expressed her satisfaction with the level of the strong bilateral relations and stressed her country's keenness to enhance them and achieve common interests. She also appreciated the care and attention received by the Filipino community in the Kingdom, wishing Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
