Foreign Minister meets Serbian counterpart

Manama, Sept. 24 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, met today, at the headquarters of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s mission to the United Nations, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, His Excellency Nikola Selaković, on the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. During the meeting, they discussed the relations between both countries, and ways of developing bilateral cooperation frameworks to meet common interests, in addition to a number of topics and issues of common interest on the regional and international arenas. The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, His Excellency Ambassador Jamal Al Rowaiei, and the Acting Head of the Organizations Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Her Excellency Ambassador Shaikha Aisha bint Ahmed Al Khalifa, and the delegation accompanying the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
