Foreign minister meets Thai counterpart

Manama, Apr. 24 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, met today the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, Don Pramudwinai, within the framework of the official visit of the Thai Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha to Bahrain. The ministers discussed the topics on General Prayut Chan-o-cha's visit as well as the progress of relations between the two countries and means of bolstering them at all levels. Shaikh Khalid affirmed Bahrain's pride in the progress of bilateral relations in various fields in view of the shared keenness to strengthen them and the exchange of visits by officials, which contributes to expanding cooperation and consolidating coordination in various forums and to serving the interests of both kingdoms. The Thai minister affirmed the strength of Bahraini-Thai relations in various areas, praising the important role of Bahrain in the region, wishing the Kingdom further prosperity and progress.
