Foreign Minister meets Thai counterpart

New York, Sep.21 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani met in New York today, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, Don Pramudwinai, on the sidelines of the 76th United Nations General Assembly. The meeting discussed the strong historical friendly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Thailand and their development in various fields. It also reviewed means of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the economic and trade sectors for the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples, in addition to a number of issues of mutual interest. The Undersecretary for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, H.E. Ambassador Jamal Faris Al Ruwaie and the Minister’s accompanying delegation also attended the meeting.
