Foreign Minister meets Tunisian Prime Minister

Tunis, Oct. 21 (BNA): The Prime Minister of the brotherly Republic of Tunisia, Dr. Youssef Chahed, today received the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, currently paying an official visit to Tunisia. The Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the Tunisian Republic stands for an exemplary model of political success conductive to more economic growth and social stability. He asserted the support of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Tunisia and its brotherly people on all levels, and commended the important results of the Joint Bahraini-Tunisian Committee meeting, which, he said, will open up new cooperation prospects in all fields. Dr. Chahed appreciated the minister’s visit to Tunisia, and underlined Tunisia’s keen desire to bolster its relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain in all domains for the best interests of the two sides. He said the Tunisian government would accord special attention to developing investments between the two countries and benefiting of the available opportunities. The two sides exchanged consultations and views on how to develop the brotherly ties between the two countries in all political, economic and other fields, and reviewed the latest Arab and regional developments.
