Foreign Minister meets with Turkmen counterpart

Riyadh, Sept. 7 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, met today in Riyadh with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, on the sidelines of the first joint ministerial meeting of the strategic dialogue between the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council and Central Asian countries. During the meeting, the two ministers reviewed the close friendship and cooperation relations between Bahrain and Turkmenistan in various fields, and ways of intensifying bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries and further developing it to serve mutual interests. In addition, they discussed regional and international developments and a number of issues of common concern.
