Foreign Minister offers condolences on demise of former Pakistani President

Manama, July 25 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, paid a visit today to the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in order to offer condolences on the demise of Pakistan's former President Mamnoon Hussain. The Foreign Minister expressed to the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Muhammad Ayoub, sincere condolences of the Kingdom of Bahrain, recalling the merits of the late president, his great contributions to the service of his country and its brotherly people and his unrelenting efforts to promote Pakistan's regional and international standing. He also praised the late President’s keenness on developing friendly relations and close cooperation between the two countries and peoples. He lauded the late President’s constant endeavor to bolster bilateral relations and serve common interests, wishing Pakistan and its people further progress and prosperity.
