Foreign Minister praises Egypt’s pivotal role

Athens, Feb.11 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt, Sameh Shoukry ,on the sidelines of the Friendship Forum in Athens. During the meeting, Dr. Al Zayani expressed his pride and appreciation for the strength and durability of the solid fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries, in light of the wise directives of His Majesty the King and His Excellency the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. He stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation and coordination in various Areas to achieve common interests, praising the prominent role that the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt plays in preserving Arab national security and defending Arab interests and causes. For his part, the Egyptian Foreign Minister affirmed the strength of the fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Republic of Egypt in light of the mutual keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields. He praised the development of the strong relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples at all levels, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain more development and prosperity. A number of other regional and international issues of common concern were also discussed.
