Foreign Minister receives Arab League Assistant Secretary General

Manama, Mar. 7 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, received in his office at the ministry today Arab League Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the Arab Affairs and National Security Sector, Ambassador Khalil Ibrahim Al-Thawadi. The Minister of Foreign Affairs praised the efforts of the Assistant Secretary-General in following up on Arab issues and Arab national security, noting the role of the Arab League in promoting pan-Arab work. For his part, Ambassador Al-Thawadi expressed thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its continued support, praising the contributions of the Kingdom of Bahrain in supporting joint Arab action and strengthening Arab solidarity.
