Foreign Minister receives Azeri Ambassador

Manama, Mar. 24 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, today received the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, residing in Riyadh, Shahin Abdullayev. The meeting was also attended by the Director of the Afro-Asian Affairs Directorate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Muna Abbas Radhi. During the meeting, the Foreign Minister welcomed Ambassador Abdullayev, stressing Bahrain's interest in promoting its friendship with Azerbaijan in a way that serves the common interests of the two friendly countries and peoples. The two sides also discussed areas of bilateral cooperation and their development, means to promote relations and further develop them, in addition to a number of issues and topics of common interest.
