Foreign Minister receives BPW Bahrain President

Manama, May 9 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received the President of Bahrain Business and Professional Women International Federation (BPW Bahrain), Shaikha Hind bint Salman Al Khalifa. Shaikha Hind expressed appreciation of the minister's keenness to cooperate with BPW Bahrain as reflected in the ministry’s activities and programmes. She praised the role of the ministry in highlighting Bahrain's regional and international standing as an important model in Sustainable development and as an investment - friendly environment. This, she said would help the federation achieve its sought objectives and provide the best frameworks for interaction with various international bodies, through the programme "Manama and Matira", which will promote culture and investment between entrepreneurs from the Arab world and Italy’s province of Basilicata. The minister appreciated the BPW Bahrain role in promoting the role of women and youth in various sectors and the economy in particular. He also praised the Federation’s Training and rehabilitation efforts and initiatives and their positive impact of success and creativity in the labor market, wishing Shaikha Hind the Federation every success and development.
