Foreign Minister receives call from UAE counterpart

Manama, Dec. 16 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, received a phone call today from his UAE counterpart, Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed congratulations to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Majesty the King, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister and the Bahraini people on Bahrain’s National Day. He expressed pride and appreciation of strong bilateral relations, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and development. On his part, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani expressed gratitude to Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his fraternal feelings, praising strong historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, in light of the high interest of the leaderships of both countries and their keenness on developing them to achieve common aspirations. He wished the UAE continued prosperity under its leadership.
