Foreign Minister receives Executive Director of IISS

Manama, May 26 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received the Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), Sir Tom Beckett. The minister hailed the crucial role of IISS in highlighting regional and international developments at various political, economic and security levels. He affirmed the keenness of the ministry to enhance its cooperation with IISS to establish peace and security in the region, wishing it further success. Sir Tom Beckett expressed appreciation to the minister for his support and keenness to develop cooperation and coordination with IISS to achieve its objectives.
