Foreign minister receives first deputy speaker

Manama, Mar. 5 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received today the First Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Ali Abdulla Al Aradi. He expressed his appreciation for the Representatives Council's role in supporting the democratic process and increasing developmental achievements, reviewing the means of bolstering cooperation between the executive and legislative branches to serve various national issues and achieve the aspirations of citizens. The minister affirmed that continued constructive cooperation between the executive and legislative branches is fundamental in the progress witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain in various fields, praising the council’s efforts in all fields to promote the civilized image of Bahrain and its democratic accomplishments. Al Aradi expressed his appreciation for the support provided to the Council of Representatives, affirming its keenness to continue cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the benefit of the nation and the citizens.
