Foreign Minister receives French ambassador

Manama, Oct. 11 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, received in his office at the Ministry's General Court today, French Ambassador to Bahrain, Jerome Cauchard, in the presence of Ambassador Tawfiq Ahmed Al-Mansour, Assistant Undersecretary for Western and Afro-Asian Countries and Ambassador Shaikha Aisha bint Ahmed bin Saqr Al Khalifa, Director of European and European Union Affairs. The Minister of Foreign Affairs praised friendly relations of cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of France, noting mutual keenness to further develop ties at all levels to serve common interests. For his part, the French ambassador valued the advanced level of bilateral relations, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity. The two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop them in various fields.
