Foreign Minister receives GCC Assistant Secretary General

Manama, Feb. 21 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdellatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, received in his office at the ministry’s General Court today, Assistant Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) appointed for Legislative and Legal Affairs, Chancellor Sultan bin Nasser Al-Suwaidi, on the occasion of his new assignment representing the Kingdom of Bahrain at the GCC Secretariat General. The meeting was attended by Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for International Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa. The Minister of Foreign Affairs welcomed Chancellor Al-Suwaidi, praising his competence and experience in the field of legislation and law and wishing him success in carrying out his future duties. For his part, Chancellor Al-Suwaidi affirmed his determination to represent the Kingdom of Bahrain and undertake his upcoming duties. He also expressed appreciation to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry’s officials for their support.
