Foreign Minister receives GCC Chief

Manama, Feb.17 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani received in his office at the Ministry’s General Court today, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Dr. Naif bin Falah Al-Hajraf. Present were Assistant Foreign Minister, Abdulla bin Faisal bin Jabur Al Doseri, the Undersecretary of Regional & GCC Affairs, Ambassador Waheed Mubarak Sayyar, the Assistant Undersecretary for GCC and Arab Countries Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Mohammed Jameel, as well as the companying delegation of the GCC Secretary-General. During the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs welcomed Dr. Naif bin Falah Al-Hajraf, congratulating him on his appointment as Secretary-General of the GCC and wishing him further success in his duties to further the joint-Gulf action for the common interests Dr. Al-Hajraf expressed his pleasure to have met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and congratulated the Minister of Foreign Affairs on the precious royal trust bestowed upon him through his appointment to his post. He also hailed the crucial role played by the Kingdom of Bahrain to enhance joint-Gulf action, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
