Foreign Minister receives IISS-Middle East Executive Director

Manama, June 23 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, received today at the ministry's headquarters the Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies in the Middle East (IISS-Middle East), Sir Tom Beckett, in the presence of the Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Talal Abdulsalam Al-Ansari, and the Acting Chief of Protocol, Salah Shehab. During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International Institute for Strategic Studies in the fields of scientific research, holding intellectual seminars on political, security and regional strategic issues, and following up on the ongoing arrangements for organising the eighteenth annual regional security summit (Manama Dialogue).
