Foreign Minister receives Japanese ambassador

Manama, Oct. 22 (BNA): ` Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, received in his office today at the ministry's general court, Japanese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Hideki Ito. The meeting was attended by Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for International Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and Director of Afro-Asian Affairs, Ambassador Mona Abbas Radhi. Dr. Al Zayani welcomed the Japanese ambassador, lauding growing relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries in various fields. He expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain's keenness on more cooperation with Japan to further enhance bilateral relations and achieve common aspirations. The Japanese ambassador expressed happiness about meeting Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, stressing Japan's keenness to consolidate bilateral cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain and wishing the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity.
