Foreign Minister receives letter from Lebanese counterpart

Manama, Oct. 7 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, received a written letter from the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of the brotherly Lebanese Republic, Charbel Wehbe. In his letter, the Lebanese minister lauded the solidarity of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain with the Lebanese Republic, hailing the royal directives to provide immediate support and humanitarian aid to his country following the horrific explosion in Beirut Port last August. The Lebanese Foreign Minister noted the kind gesture of the Kingdom of Bahrain, which contributed to relieving the suffering of the victims of the blast, affirms the solid brotherly relations between the two countries and peoples. He also commended all the efforts exerted by the Kingdom to help the Lebanese Republic, wishing Bahrain further development, security and stability.
