Foreign Minister receives Minister of Industry

Manama, June 15 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani received in his office at the Ministry’s General Court today, the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani. The Minister of Foreign Affairs welcomed Mr. Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, reviewing cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism, as well as the efforts exerted to enhance joint cooperation. He also affirmed the importance of joint cooperation and coordination to enhance the Kingdom’s efforts to combat COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani commended the efforts of the national carrier, Gulf Air to facilitate the return of Bahraini citizens to Bahrain, as well as allocate flights to transport supplies, medicine, medical equipment and facilitate food transport. He said those efforts had contributed to the success of national efforts to combat the pandemic and its repercussions.
