Foreign Minister receives Nepalese ambassador

Manama, July 5 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani received in his office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today the Ambassador of the Republic of Nepal to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Padam Sundas. The Minister of Foreign Affairs praised friendly relations and cooperation between both countries and their perpetual growth in various fields. He stressed the Kingdom’s keenness to enhance such relations for the common benefits of the two countries. The Minister lauded the efforts exerted by the Nepalese ambassador and the competent authorities in Nepal in support to Bahraini team who climbed Mount Everest last June, noting the historic achievement of the team, under the follow-up of Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. He also hailed the efforts of the Nepalese community in the Kingdom, wishing the ambassador every success. The Nepalese Ambassador praised friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries in various fields. He also congratulated the Kingdom of Bahrain on the historic achievement by the Bahraini team that climbed Mount Everest, being the first Arab team that successfully achieves this. He also affirmed Nepal’s keenness to continue cooperating and coordinating with Bahrain, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
