Foreign Minister receives Nepalese Ambassador

Manama, Aug. 4 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, today received the Ambassador of Nepal to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Padam Sundas, on the occasion of the end of his term as ambassador of his country to the Kingdom. The meeting was held in the presence of the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Mudailawi. During the meeting, the Foreign Minister welcomed the Ambassador of Nepal, praising the friendly relations between Bahrain and Nepal. He also lauded the efforts made by Ambassador Sundas to develop cooperation relations between the two friendly countries in various fields, which had a great impact on promoting common interests. The Ambassador expressed his deep thanks to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and all officials in the Kingdom of Bahrain for the support and cooperation he had received, which contributed to the success of his diplomatic mission, wishing Bahrain further development. The Minister presented a souvenir gift to Ambassador Sundas on this occasion, wishing him continued success. The meeting was also attended by the Ministry’s Chief of Afro-Asian Affairs, Ambassador Fatima Abdulla Al-Dhaen.
