Foreign Minister receives New Zealand Ambassador-designate to Bahrain

Manama, Jan. 18 (BNA): Foreign Minister, Dr. Abdellatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, received today New Zealand Ambassador-designate to the Kingdom of Bahrain residing in Riyadh, Barney Riley. He praised distinguished friendly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and New Zealand, stressing Bahrain’s keenness to enhance them for the best interest of both countries. The New Zealand Ambassador lauded the advanced level of bilateral relations, stressing his country’s keenness to bolster relations of friendship and cooperation in all fields and wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further growth and prosperity. Both sides discussed issues of common interest. The meeting was attended by Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and Chief of the Americas Affairs Sector, Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa.
