Foreign Minister receives Pakistan ambassador

Manama, Feb. 19 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received Pakistani Ambassador to Bahrain, Afzaal Mahmood. The minister expressed pride in the close ties between the Bahrain and Pakistan, noting the vital role of Pakistan in reinforcing international security and stability. He affirmed the Kingdom’s keenness to develop cooperation with Pakistan on various issues in order to achieve mutual interest. The ambassador confirmed the keenness of Pakistan to strengthen its relations with the Kingdom in all fields, welcoming the upcoming visit of Foreign Affairs Minister to Pakistan, looking forward for the meeting of the Joint Ministerial Committee between the two countries later this year.
