Foreign Minister receives phone call from UK Ambassador

Manama, Dec. 27 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, received a phone call from the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Roddy Drummond. The Minister of Foreign Affairs hailed the historic friendly relations between the two Kingdoms, noting their development at various fields. He also expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s congratulations to the UK on the occasion of reaching the EU-UK Cooperation and Trade Agreement, affirming the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to further develop joint coordination with the UK for the benefit of both countries and people. Ambassador Drummond noted the importance of enhancing joint cooperation and coordination in all fields, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity. They also discussed a number of issues of common interest.
