Foreign Minister receives Turkic Council Secretary General

Manama, July 5 (BNA): Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani received today the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council), Baghdad Amreyev. The Secretary General briefed Dr Al Zayani the efforts exerted by the Turkic Council to enhance cooperation among its members at the political, economic, and social levels and to strengthen the Council’s relations with the world, as well the progress of the Council in this regard. The meeting was in the presence of the Undersecretary for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa and the Chief of Afro-Asian Affairs Fatima Abdulla Al Dhaen.
