Foreign Ministry’s International Affairs Undersecretary meets Dutch Ambassador

Manama, Apr. 14 (BNA): The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, met virtually today the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Kingdom of Bahrain, residing in Kuwait, Laurens Westhoff. Dr. Shaikh Abdulla congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment as an accredited Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, hailing the growing friendship and cooperation relations between the two friendly countries, and their development at various levels. The Undersecretary for International Affairs stressed Bahrain's keenness to promote cooperation and coordination relations with the Netherlands in order to meet common aspirations, wishing the Ambassador success in his duties. Ambassador Westhoff expressed his country's desire to develop the close ties of friendship and cooperation relations with Bahrain in all areas, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity. The two sides also discussed a number of areas of bilateral cooperation, in addition to exchanging views on issues of common concern.
