Foreign Ministry’s Political Affairs Undersecretary, British official discuss joint cooperation

Manama, Apr. 30 (BNA): The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, met virtually the Deputy Director and Head of the United Nations and Multilateral Department of the UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Neil Briscoe. During the meeting, the latest developments regarding activation of the work of the subcommittee on international cooperation were discussed within the framework of the Bahrain-British Joint Committee meeting, which was hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain last March. The two sides stressed the importance of strengthening joint cooperation between the two friendly countries at all levels, especially exchange of information through diplomatic missions, international forums, and international conferences, in addition to developing the efforts aimed at combating the Coronavirus (Covid - 19) pandemic.
