Foreign Ministry’s Undersecretary, Italian Ambassador discuss strengthening joint cooperation

Manama, Feb. 2 (BNA): The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received in his office at the Ministry’s General Court today, the Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mrs. Paula Amadi. During the meeting, Dr. Shaikh Abdula highlighted the depth of relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Italian Republic, and the development they are witnessing at all levels, stressing the importance of continuing to strengthen cooperation and joint bilateral coordination and follow up the implementation of the agreements and memoranda of understanding signed between the two friendly countries. He also noted the successful visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to Rome last year, which fostered positive outcomes for a growing and comprehensive strategic partnership. The Italian Ambassador expressed her pride in the evolving close relations existing between the two friendly countries, stressing her country's aspiration to strengthen cooperation with Bahrain in various fields, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity. The meeting also discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries and exchanged views on the most prominent issues of common concern.
