Foreign Ministry Afro-Asian Affairs Chief participates in CICA senior officials meeting

Astana, Oct. 10 (BNA): Chief of the Afro-Asian Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Fatima Abdullah Al-Dhaen, participated in the senior officials’ meeting of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), which was held in Astana, Kazakhstan. The meeting, chaired by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Adil Tursunov, was held to prepare for the sixth summit of CICA, which is scheduled to be held from 12 to 13 October. In her speech, Ambassador Al-Dhaen expressed Bahrain's appreciation for the outstanding efforts made by Kazakhstan during its presidency of CICA, stressing the Kingdom's keenness to achieve the goals and objectives of the conference and its support for all activities held within its framework.
