Foreign Ministry condemns terrorist attack in Diyala Governorate, Iraq

Manama, Oct. 27 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned the horrific terrorist attack on the village of Al-Rashad in the Muqdadiya district of Diyala Governorate in the brotherly Republic of Iraq, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of civilians. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed deep condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, the Iraqi government, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured. It affirmed solidarity of Bahrain with Iraq in the measures taken to maintain its security and stability. The ministry reiterated the kingdom's firm position and its rejection of all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism, regardless of their motives or justifications.
