Foreign Ministry holds farewell ceremony for Moroccan Ambassador

Manama, July 10 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held at its General Court today, a farewell ceremony for the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Ahmed Rashid Khatabi, on the occasion of the end of his term as an Ambassador to the Kingdom. During the ceremony, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, praised the good efforts exerted by Mr. Ahmed Khatabi during his diplomatic career in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which, she said, contributed to the development of relations between the two countries for the common aspirations of the two countries and their brotherly peoples. Mr. Ahmed Rashid Khatabi expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the officials of the Kingdom of Bahrain for their hospitality, in addition to their cooperation and support that contributed to the success of his work. He also wished the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity. At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa presented the Ambassador with a souvenir gift, wishing him further success in his future work. The ceremony was attended by a number of Ambassadors accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
