This came upon the directives of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, to intensify efforts and increase strategic cooperation to best serve the interests of the Kingdom of Bahrain,
These efforts come through the collaboration of the Strategic Affairs Sector with the Terrorist Financing Targeting Center (TFTC), where twenty-two specialists representing various ministries and relevant national bodies in the Kingdom took part in the workshop.
The workshop was attended by experts and practitioners from all member countries of TFTC, with the total number of participants reaching nearly 100 participants. This workshop comes in its third edition this year as part of a series of workshops organized by TFTC, which is based in Riyadh. These workshops serve as a forum for topics specializing in combating money laundering and terrorist financing.
The participation of Bahrain in this specialized workshop to build national and regional capacities confirms that the Kingdom prioritizes combating money laundering and terrorist financing.
